ABOUT

Our story

tenkara.ca was born from a frustration: finding reliable tenkara information in French in Québec was nearly impossible. This home gathers everything under one roof, bilingual, and connected to Japan.

Why tenkara.ca?

Information about tenkara exists, but it’s scattered: American sites, European anglophone blogs, Japanese forums. In Quebec French, it’s almost nonexistent. This home brings it all together: master techniques, Canadian river atlas, audio Japanese glossary, kebari codex, and a bilingual community.

A Trivio initiative

tenkara.ca is developed by Ermenegildo Conte (Fosses Nouvelles) via Trivio. Trivio.ca is the first platform that connects anglers, guides and territories through recognized and shared experiences — an ecosystem of which tenkara.ca is one of the French-speaking branches dedicated to Japanese tenkara.

The site is hosted in Quebec and designed to inform, educate and entertain — without intrusive advertising, without dogma, without haste.
